I was browsing online a bit today reading various bits and pieces, poker related.
On a couple of the sites I was looking at, players were asking various questions and one that came up quite a bit was, "What is a Straddle bet?"
For those that don't know or aren't 100% sure, a straddle is when a player puts in twice the big blind before the cards are dealt.
Nornmally it is the player to the left of the big blind who straddles.
It is basically a raise in the dark, and all players following must now call or raise the amount of the straddle bet - normally, twice the big blind.
