This was the first poker forum I ever joined. And I was enjoying it very much. Then I noticed a monthly $1,000 freeroll on a big poker site and decided to check out their forum. I was enticed by their freeroll and their "glitzy" software of their forum. I contributed regularly on this forum. They had cool contests (one of which I won a prize of $50 in my account on a big poker site).
Then I started to find the "bugs" in their system. These weren't software bugs (although they had their share of those, which is normal). These were bugs in their processes and they way they do business. I no longer could see myself using their forum. So I went to delete my profile. They do not have a way to do that! So I tried to unsubscribe from their site. They do not have a way to do that either. WHAT THE HECK?? Why would any decent poker forum do that? I deleted all of my personal info that I could. But my personal info is still on their server! Their customer service gave me a "ticket number" which they continue to ignore.
So I now am back to Poker Nations. I have never had a problem with this forum. Why, oh why, did I look elsewhere?
