  Hey, I'm bernynhel (berny) from L.A./Palm Springs (P.S., today).  I was shanghaied to this forum via stealth drone pop-up fly-by while at FunTrivia.com.  First time in this particular forum format so pardon my having posted to the Lost thread before introducing myself.  It was a nav thing.  Recently banned (yesterday, as a matter of fact) @ CasinoMeister.com after 3 1/2 years and 1,000+ posts so I am delighted to have found a new community to annoy, happenstance, as my being here is, notwithstanding.  At all of the other forums and sites where I have, somehow,  managed to avoid banishment, with most of the privileges accorded to even the lowliest levels of the membership still intact, I am known as "bernynhel", also,  just so's you don't feel ambushed should we happen to cross paths outside of this forum.
  
  Looking forward to honing a few poker skills, longs I'm here.  I like Texas Hold 'em and have done OK in the L.A. card rooms and "so-so" online.  Also a big casino gambling freak where, online, VP is my bane of choice but I play slots when I'm up, a bit, as well, and in the B/M casinos I like craps (Vegas) and VP (5 Indian Casinos within 15 mi radius of my P.S. pad).

  John here, from the good ole USA. The only part thats still sane that is, with a few exceptions (from NH)Been playin poker since i can remember, used to build card houses when i was a kid, nothin guiness like, but 91 cards, not bad. im 24, i play about half online half live, i love online poker, but nothin beats winning cash. Im kind of computer illiterate, so im going to try to update my profile... well see how that goes, i already abandoned doing it and am writing these... im kinda a procrastinator. anyway gl at the tables all, and i hope ur aces hold.

  My name is Adrian, and I am a 50-something married gent (empty-nester) living in southwest Arkansas, USA. I have played poker off and on for a few years, small stakes online, cash games. I am currently playing on Ultimate Bet, as 3Creeks.
  
  I am trying to learn to play no-limit. I have Dan Harrington's books on cash games, and Phil Gordon's Little Green Book and Little Blue Book. I have ordered Bob Ciaffone's No-limit and Pot-limit book. Any other suggestions for reading material, or strategy tips in general, are welcome. I plan to post hands in the strategy forums and tap into some of the great experience here!

  Glad to join the forum. I'm not much of a poker player, but enjoy the occasional low-stake game. I do love gambling online, as well as outings to the B&M's, especially when a concert is involved!

  Hello everyone!  I joined a few days ago, but I didn't have a lot of time to look around.  Even so, I recieved many very friendly welcome messages and friend requests right after I joined.  Very cool!
  
  At any rate, I live in NW Indiana and have been playing cards (all kinds) ever since I can remember.  For the first time in a very long time I'm going to have a lot more time on my hands to participate in forums and groups-- and, of course, to improve my poker skills!

   whoops I am one of you guys too
  
  I am one of the crazy canucks from the wild west BC coast
  in a fair sized town Langley which is about 40 min drive east of
  Vancouver where the Winter Olympic was held earlier this year!
  
  I am just a single gal with 2 hairy babies!  oohhh that is two cats!! heehee
  and enjoy being with friends and stuff.
  Lately I had been playing at WPTapl which is the fun game tourney
  for us amateurs to win as many points in 3 months and meet other
  local players.  That is a lot of fun and will try to keep myself near the top
  in the running of this tourney.
  
  My dream is to be the first deaf gal to win at one of these big tourney!

  Hey all! I found out about this site when I was watching home poker games on Youtube and came across the Youtube channel! Unfortunately when I tried to sign up the signing up process was broken. I reported it to Anthony and it was fixed the next day. That's good to know! Anyways I specifically like to play real money games during live games rather than online but I'll go for Freerolls in hopes of picking up $10-20. That's totally okay with me. If I can pick up on about $10 I'm pretty confident I can start a bank roll going and try to get up to about $100.
