I believe it's because of the platform, if memory serves me, a number of the sites hosting freerolls with us utilize the Cake Poker Network. I encountered similar problems trying to register the same name at each site, because of this (i.e. you can't duplicate the names on the same network I guess?)

AJ (the midgety one known here as Anthony) is correct....
if you have an acct with that screen name at another Merge skin you have to use a diff one... (ie; you're the one that "stole" stole your name....it's already taken by you at another Merge site)
