  WOW i caught a trojin virus from the site.it stoped every cake site i had and got into all kinds of stuff! i had to get rid of avast and get a differnt protection to get rid of it.if your going to be takeing us to all these site to play please check them out better before you have us download them!it took me 12 hrs to get all of it taken care of and still not sure what all got deleted to get rid of the virus!!so ill be very afraid to down load new sites due to this..who the hell wants to spend all that time to fix a virus to play your games? so please check the sites your gonna have us playing at a little better befor you hook up the downloads 4 us! thanks  zeeman

  ummmm  I too had played in the redback poker freeroll and i did not recieve any sort of virus nor of anything else!!! 
  
                   ummmm   hey bud I have a question fot you!!!    how far along did u make it in the freeroll??  did u notice that there was a thread for this tourney, as with all tourneys..  alot of people usually dont notice the rail threads because they either bust early on or they dont pay attention...  but sometimes there is some helpful posts in there when something like this does accidently, but how can u really blame the one site when there were other factors in which helped cause this...   heres what was posted by RedBackPoker...  see below:

  A number of players have brought it to our attention that they are receiving a trojan virus warning after starting their RedBack Poker client.
  This problem ONLY relates to people who are running avast anti-virus software. These alerts are False Positives and it is safe to ignore these threats. It appears that the most recent update with the avast anti-virus software has caused the issue.

  A number of web portals have problems with that damned Avast Antivir program reporting false positives (i.e. telling users there is a virus when there isn't)
  
  This has plagued the cake network and we also had people who visited our site reporting this as well. I would recommend AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition (check out Download.com) which doesn't report these false positives

  I use McAfee Anti-Virus having tried Norton and AVG in the past. It is the best there is in my opinion.

  really?  i also have McAfee and I hate it..  everytime i start my computer it starts doing something that makes everything go super slow...   then its virus scan takes so dang long..  it just seems like its just slow and makes things all laggy

  i'm having an issue with red back poker. I click on cashier and I can't see any of my info. All I can see are the words 'account status' and the top half of the words 'personal information'. I run XP. I tried it on my uncles computer, he's got the new windows and I got the same thing.
