  On the turn I just smooth-called.  His bet was ridiculously small, which is generally what bad players will do when they want to take the pot away but don't want to overcommit themselves with a big bet.
  
  So I felt like I could call with my flush draw on the turn, and either hit on the river or take the pot away on the river regardless of what card fell (since Villian, unless he has a Q, will likely freeze up on the river)
  
  The river arrives and Villian checks, what do you do now?

  It is either all in or check.....do you have info on this player? If he is weak then the bluff may not work..... If he is solid he wouldnt check here unless he has quads so I would push .....If you are in the money. It all depends what I have seen this player do in the past.

  I think if he had an Ace he would make a blocking bet. I think he has something like KJ or KT or a small pocket pair and has your Jack high beat, so you have to bet to win. Bet half the pot to leave yourself some chips in case he has an Ace and calls.

  I folded on the turn. If i am at this point, i probably just check behind since I don't know anything about the player and I play conservatively with minimal risks.

  ordinarily I like 1/2 to 2/3 pot to look like a vbet. Given you don't have reads playing this hand as you did makes it a lot more complicated; now you'll just have to hope villain isn't a station and doesn't have much.
  
  EDIT: Never mind, just noticed stack sizes... push and pray.
