  Did I play this as awful as I think?  This table had been very fairly tight up to this point. The BTN here had only showed very solid playings up to this point, so the raise seemed like trouble.

  I'm not a PLO player, that being said:
  
  1. Fold preflop. 499K single suited is an awful hand to be calling raises out of position with (even with that many folks coming along preflop)
  
  2. Don't fold the flop, you should be checkraising there. Yes, it sucks that you could be up against a combo straight/flush draw on that board. But since you have a K in your own hand, the chances you're up against the two case Kings for top set against your middle set are pretty slim. So I would assume at that point my set of 9's is the best hand.
  
  You could wait until the turn if you want to try and see if you can dodge the straight or flush card first before committing your stack. But the problem here is there's a half-pot bet on the flop and then a minraise from the button, so I'd be less inclined to let either of them draw for free.

  AJs pretty bang on... you have middle set with a blocker for top set.
  Check-Raise to protect your hand, barrel a very safe turn card - it adds more draws but doesnt make any.
  
  Then hope no one made the river straight, but someone in the hand still shouldnt be on the gutter - unless it was a backdoor with some other made hand.
  
  And dang I want in on that game.....

  Would agree with the above comments and add the following,
  1. You don't want to play that hand OOP, you don't have the nut flush draw---cards are not connected enough to have a reasonable chance at a straight.
  2. Good flop for you--check raising is a good idea, but even better is to bet it right now. In the Pot Limit games you have to steadily build the pot since you can't shove whenever you want. I'd either bet half the pot or the pot and see who wants to come over the top and try and steal it. Having the flush draw out there should really help you in this situation, good chance somebody is betting the diamonds.

  Ditto to all. Bad call PF, Worse fold OTF. You really that worried about the case KK, or are you just risk adverse (in which case why did you see a flop at all?)?

  Thanks guys, I agree with all of you and I appreciate the feedback. I'm not risk adverse, I guess I put KK in the BTN's range b/c he had been playing so tight and raising with only solid holdings. He had the nuts 4 out of the 6 hands he showed. Next time I'll drop the hammer in that spot.
