  Not sure I love the raise pre-flop with 44. Personally I would just call. Not a bad play though. Post-flop, not much you can do. I do believe we call that a suckout!

  Preflop- In a full ring game I'm not a big proponet of 3 betting with 44 from middle position. At these stakes your gonna get called a lot more than you would exspect to be. As is, you were called by 2.
  Postflop- Dream flop, dream result until the river. Nothing more than you can do. PLayed aswell as possible in my opinion.
  
  Now of course this is just going by the hand you posted. This is not taking into account any reads of the players. Just unlucky. Good luck at the tables!

  Yea, basically just unlucky...
  
  1) flat call pre flop. QQ might reraise, puts ball in their court, probably same amount etc and flat call that if it's not too much.
  
  2) Flop reraise to 1.50 to 2.00... Even though you don't want to get sucked out, better to get another to come along other than the one person calling the all in.
  
  3) Villain is kind of a moron to begin with. If possibly thought you had anything like AA, KK, or AK why would they flat call preflop... assuming she prob thought you had AK, and then call your large bet on the flop with a K on the board...

  If you're playing the 44 preflop I hate the three-bet, because if you get four-bet you have to fold. So I'd lean towards smooth-calling the preflop raise.
  
  On the flop I'm fine with your checkraise. You got all of the money in as a favorite to your opponents pocket Queens and she got there on the river (i.e. don't be results-oriented, you can only get your money in as a favorite, the rest is out of your hands)

  Postflop you played it fine and got precisely what you had hoped for.  The deck just took a steaming dump on you.
