It is now official, the date our members will meet at Mohegan Sun Casino in CT has been selected.

Saturday, April 3, 2010

There is a $300+$40 "Survivor" tournament at 12:00pm EST that day where 1 in 10 wins $3,000.

I will be playing this event and I know others coming down will as well. You do not need to play this event to meetup with everyone. Many will commute to the casino just to meet and play some of the cash games (which should be very juicy with the tournament series in town)

Because that event starts at noon we'll look to have our meetup sometime around 10-10:30am, so people have time to eat a quick lunch and get registered for the tournament series (you can also buy your seat in advance at PTSeats.com )

If you are attending please post in this thread and also send me a private message with your cell phone #

I can then provide you with mine so we can make sure everyone knows where to meetup (we haven't selected a specific location at Mohegan yet, I'm talking with their people next week to determine this)

Just booked my room(s)...bunch of friends decided to tag along. Looking forward to it!

PS: though $199 is more expensive than other hotels in the area, the cheapest rate for Mohegan on hotels.com is $499 a night.

Has anyone booked their seat(s)? I am probably going to play the Survivor and the Step 1 Satty at 4. Anyone know how far in advance I should buy my tickets? Do you think I should get the survivor now, and wait to see how that goes before the Satty? Or do you think the satty will fill before I am done with Survivor?

I haven't used PTSeats to book. I will be arriving the night before the Survivor event, so hoping to pre-register then and not have to rush on Saturday.

Yeah, I don't want to go all the way out there Saturday morning, and then find out the events are filled. I don't know much about this NAPT, or how much attention it is going to get. I don't think I should book now though, just in case plans change or something. I doubt they refund.
