This tournament will not appear in the LuckyAcePoker lobby until Monday the 22nd of February at 20:00 GMT

Edit: The LuckyAcePoker rep has informed me that because of the structure of this event (i.e. the prize pool increases from $100 to $500 based on the number of signups) that payouts will need to be processed manually on their end.

Generally this is because they operate in a jurisdiction where there are legal concerns should they open their room to US players.

I'm sure they would open their room to everyone if they felt they could without repercussions, not all poker rooms are located in the same jurisdictions for this purpose.

Too bad that you choose this poker room for your next freeroll. No USA players (I love to take their money....haaaaa) and only new accounts. It's the first time you do like this. Why? There are lots of poker rooms which normally use password protected tournaments. What was wrong with your previous tournaments? I enjoyed very much Fultilt and Host tournaments. What happened with you that you had decided to change the rules?
Not in the last, which are your intentions for the future? You'll do like this or you will return to previous conditions?

Hi Marian,

We didn't change any rules. Freerolls are offered by outside poker rooms under the terms & conditions they apply. We then present these to our members based on those terms, which are not something that we have control over.

Some rooms do not accept US players, and some rooms require that freerolls are provided only to new signups. Each room is different.

keep your fingers crossed that a repeal or alteration to the UIGEA will happen soon,then we USA playa's will have more choices to where we play...call/write your congress persons- join the PPA.
