  You are in a $120 single tabel SNG, blinds are at 100/200 with 25 ante, you are not getting any cards so far, and there are 5 players left. Your hole cards are Kh K s.
  
  You have about 1,000 in chips , there is only one other player in the hand, and this player can bet first , both of the players just call the bb.
  
  Flop comes with 3 diamonds on the board, the highest card is the Jd,  first player bets 400, what is your move with the Ks?

  What Shawn said. You have 5 blinds at a 5 handed table. What are you slow playing for? You could (or should) be shoving pretty lightly there in villain's eyes.

  Villian is likely not betting almost the pot here with a made flush (although it's possible if they flopped a really low flush and are trying to protect against a draw with a higher diamond)
  
  So it's possible villian could make this move with top pair, trying to protect against a fourth diamond as well.
  
  It's also possible villian could have hit two pair from one of the blinds and be protecting against the flush draw.
  
  Either way, the problem here is that we should have shoved preflop with such a small stack. And we need to get our chips in here because we're too short to do much else.

  Doesnt matter. You wont win! There is nothing random about tilt. He would have had 3d 7s and beat you! Online poker is rigged to get a faster rake!

  Agree with Six, I think we all realize how you feel about online poker (yet don't understand why you continue to play...)

  This may be un-orthodoxed but I would bet nine hundred and make them push me the rest of the way.
  
  I say this because if they just call you might hit the third king and then you can be somewhat sure that you have a chance to win it.
  
  I always like to leave people guessing and make them start to think why I did not put all my chips in. Just my idea.
  
  Good luck at the tables and remember it is just a game for money.

  You have 1000 chips and your opponent bet 400.  You advocate we raise to 900 to "leave them guessing" but then we only have 100 chips left.
  
  This pretty much means we can't fold our hand, even if a fourth hits the turn.
  
  I'm not sure I understand your line at all.  We have no fold equity regardless of whether we shove or raise only part of our stack here.
  
  But if you leave yourself 100 chips and you don't hit the third king on the turn, or a hits, are you folding and keeping your last 100 while the pot size is thousands?

  yeah, shove---best hand now + fold equity,  but this is a $120 stt sng, hopefully beginners don't play at those stakes

  I'm shoving pre-flop, but if for some reason you don't, then at this point you're alread too involved. Shove and pray they don't have diamonds.

  That's what I was thinking. It's a $120 SNG... shouldn't everyone at that level be shoving pre with 5 blinds with KK?
  
  Now you have 800 or 1000 left (wasnt sure really) and the SB next, so even shorter if you fold here. If you were trapping pre, and hit a bad flop I guess you go with it -- unless you want to wait for AA next hand.

  The price to sit at the table no longer matters once you have sat down. I'm not sure why that is a concern here. Regardless of the price to sit, shoving pre-flop gives you 2 options to win, having the other player fold or getting the best hand by the river. Once you have seen the flop, the only option is the 'pray' option since you are pot committed anyway.

  Gotta shove. No question u only had 1000 left anyway either ur in and double up win the blinds or ur our. rather go out in a blaze of glory than sit meekly by watching them take ur chips. I shove with anything with an ACE in it at the end. or even a king at least u have one card u can count on but, u had two KK's. raise all in Tess.

  Heres the thing, your not gonna push him off and had you shoved preflop and he called it still would have hit the same board. So with so little chips left play it till the end!

  With the blinds and antes there is $425 already in the pot pre-flop. If you push all-in, the opponent is getting the right odds to call if they have much of a hand. If they fold, you are increasing your stack by almost half. Best move was to shove pre-flop. I would still shove. Odds of opponent having two diamonds are pretty slim. With one low diamond, opponent will likely fold. With one high diamond, the shove is slightly better than break-even. Shove, baby, shove!

  I read OP and instantly thought what are you doing playing a $120 SNG if you're not shoving kings in the hole preflop with 5 big blinds! But as played, I'd still be shoving here, unless there are 2 players with stacks of <100 chips left (assuming a FR table and top 3 getting paid). I am curious to know what you did though.
