Paint, like Ribby is going through computer problems. Said when he came to the one tourney on his wife's that his hard drive died or something. So who knows when he'll be back. Hopefully soon though.

Good news! Ribby is back up! Yeehaw! Swing Flip Land!
I know not of what you speak..... (not even sure who this interloping monkey acct belongs to... though i'm guessin' it's gotta be either six, or possibly dj just because of the spelling)
but I'll give ya my two cents......even if you really don't want em
How's things going in RI, things look a little hairy there! U need any help?
wasn't too fun for a while there.... I was at my sisters house in VT (5+ hrs from home) for a couple of weeks remodeling her kitchen when Ellie called me telling me there was flood warnings and what not .... I didn't really give it a thought since we aren't in a flood plain at all
no tv at my sisters house and I hardly ever look at any news sites online so i had no idea what was happening....then I got the next call from home and telling me that the basement was flooded, (was maybe 18" - 24" at it's peak) furnace was half under water and not operational (ie; no hot water) and I was stuck a few hundred miles away...... couldn't really leave the job halfway through tile floor install and no cabinets, sink, stove ect .....not to mention woulda had a hard time getting to my house for a few days anyhow cause of road closures
couldn't believe how bad it was around the state when I got home a few days later.... many roads including parts of I-95 shut down, bridges washed out, thousands of homes and businesses flooded, all kinds of neighborhoods, business districts and other areas that are nowhere near rivers or bodies of water that have never even come close to flooding completely cut off, no way in or out
big basement cleanout when I got home (12 years worth of accumulated whatever down there) I took most of it to the dump... then the pumping out and washing, pumping out, washing, pumping out , bleaching, rinsing, pumping out, bleaching ..ect
all in all it sucked pretty bad, but we got off easy compared to alot of people that were flooded much worse....many to the point of losing everything and no place to live
hardly anyone has flood insurance if they aren't located in a designated flood plain... but there was a commendably quick response from the state and federal agencies to help anyone that needed it.....FEMA was delivering checks to most people within a couple of days of them applying for aid so most people weren't left out helpless
