  Were these pictures already somewhere online or were they on your computer?
  
  Cut/pasting from your computer likely won't work. And if they are online but you have to be logged into a site or there are privacy permissions, that would explain why you see the pics and others don't.

  Upload it to your album on this site -- then post it -- that should work fine

  Yeah, the pic needs to be online somewhere that is publically accessible.  The reason you can see the picture is because it's in your computers/browsers cache.
  
  But since no one here can access your computer, the picture won't appear for us.  You'd need to upload it to your photo album here (click MY APPS----> PHOTOS in the top menubar)
  
  Then when it's online here you should be able to get the url of the image and use that to post it in a thread.
