The pros haven't made as much of a mark in the WSOP as you would normally see however with just 64 players remaining in Event #35: Heads Up No-Limit Hold'em Championship there are lots of pros battling it out.

The next round match-ups are:

This seems to be turning into one of the most exciting events of the WSOP so far.
Definitely the cream will rise to the top in a headsup event. There's more skill involved, I think, when you're battling one vs. one and there's a ton of psychology and math coming into play.
I read that Phil Ivey was running between two tournaments so he could play both Day 2 of the Heads-Up event, and the final day of Event #33 the Pot-Limit Hold'em/Omaha tournament.

LOL Ian, he did that last year too -- he shoved my friend Lori running between them (didn't hurt her) we found it funny though -- and she was happy she was touched by Phil Ivey LOL
Well he's not running any longer. Ivey is out of the Heads Up and short stacked in the other tournament. He'll be able to go back to sleep soon the way he's playing today.
