  Pokerstars introduced a new feature today which allows you to create your own private poker clubs http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/home-games/about/ . It allows you to create your own tournaments and cash games w/ leaderboards. We ought to start up a pokernations home game club and compete against each other. I'll manage it if anyone's interested unless one of the pokernations admins would rather do it. We could do a weekly tournament and cash game at microstakes so everyone can get in on the action.

  I think it's a really good idea and if a few others are up for it, I think we should do it.

  Sounds like a fun idea, my schedule is a bit hectic atm so I can't always promise to be available for these, but I'm sure you'll get some takers :)

  Yeah I've been using this with my friends. It's really sweet. I love it. It's easy to set up and get games going. Trouble is who is going to host the PN one?

  I could see how this could be fun for friends who are spread out all over the place -- a fun time to reconnect -- But I personally don't really like playing against friends -- I perfer playing strangers.

  I've had experience with the Home Game thing. I love it. You can promote other players to Admin status who can also create tournaments and ring games. My current club (local) always has 1 micro game running with various tournaments every now and then. You can also ban people from your club as well. I'd be happy to set up the Poker Nations club but I don't want to do anything without everyone's consent. I set up tournaments for my own club all the time whether people play them or not. Creates a lot of variety.

  yea id be ok with running it unless you wanted to or if a poker nations admin would rather do it, and like u said there can be multiple admins

  Yeah, sounds fine with me, since Jesse and Matthew are willing to take it on, feel free to get it going and keep us in the loop with forum updates.

  anyone interested just let us know in this thread and we'll pm you the info on how to join when we got the club set up...dont need screenames cause you have to join it yourself by entering the club ID

  Matthew has the information and said he will be sending it out to everyone via P.M. If you would rather us post it on this topic itself that's fine too.
  
  We're looking at maybe a daily dollar buy-in tournament, a continuous micro stakes ring game, and a bigger weekly tournament ranging somewhere from a $3-5 buy-in.

  Sounds good. I'd recommend you message "ribbybruno" and maybe try to collaborate with him and the Mucking Monkeys. They run weekly events on Full Tilt, and I'm sure some of them would enjoy getting in on this action.

  There will be a $3.00 tournament tonight at 11:00 P.M. eastern time! I think my last post was deleted? I'm not sure why the post should be available to all club members.
  
  1. Sign into PokerStars.
  2. Click the "Home Games" tab.
  3. Click join a Poker Club (It's right under Welcome to Home Games!)
  4. Enter the Club ID in our case the ID is: 56786
  5. Enter the invitation code: pokernation1
  6. Enter your name and agree to the terms and conditions.
  7. Click join club, wait for approval (Anywhere from instantly to next 24 hours)
  8. Hit the tables!

  I have a question. Why play against eachother? We'd just be trading money back and forth to eachother.
  
  We already have the Mucking Monkeys -- which is very fun. But, wouldn't you want outside people (and money) coming into the action too?

  aight guys lets start joining this thing i dont want the first game to just be me vs superhotglue lol well ronin it's kinda the idea is for some inner site competition and its low stakes so its not like we'll be killing each other
