  On a whim hopped into this during late registration.  10K guaranteed prize pool, there were about 6600 players registered when I got in.
  
  Had some big knockouts early (no bounties though in this format).  I had 99 against KK and on a 29J flop.  I led out for 210 into a 270 pot (was thinking originally I probably should've done 180) and he insta-shoved and I insta-called.
  
  Then I had 22 against KQ and the flop was 24Q
  
  He bet 175 into a 380 pot, I called with position.  Turn was a 5 and he bet 250, so I called again.  River was the 5 and he led for 500 and had maybe 1100 behind, so I shoved on him and he stacked off as well.
  
  Late reg is available through level 6, but right now around 8700 total entrants, down to 6200 remaining and I'm in 270th position overall with a stack of close to 10K (started with 3K and avg is 4200)

  And I just busted another joker.  I raise the CO with 8T from 120 up to 275 and this guy in the SB calls me with Q9
  
  Flop comes down 259 and he checks.  I opt to check behind, figuring if I bet it's too easy to assume I didn't hit, so he can check-raise with bluffs and made hands, which could put me in an awkward spot.
  
  Turn is the BEAUTIFUL 7, making my flush AND giving me a straight flush draw.  Villian fires out 600 (roughly the pot size) and I raise him to 1500, he calls.  River is Q and he makes top two pair and shoves into me, I make the easy call and send him home.
  
  My stack is now over 16K and I'm 175th out of the 4700 remaining players. Avg is 6200

  After building up to over 22K I had a minor setback when I raised with 77 preflop and a large stack that covered me called OOP with Q4 s00ted. Flop was 248 and he check-called my c-bet. Turn was a Q, we both checked. River was an 8 and he bet 1200 into a pot of something like 7400, so easy call, and I see the bad news on how his awful play was rewarded.
  
  Very next hand I'm dealt pocket Queens in EP and raise it up, no takers.
  
  Just now, blinds at 200/400 with an ante, folds to the CO who shoves for 6K, I reshove the button with Jacks, he has 6's and I hold. Up over 27K now. Avg is 15K

  Blinds are 300/600 with a 75 ante, folded to the button who raises to a little over 1200. I reraise from the SB to 3600. The BB shoves all-in for 21K.
  
  I have to call a little over 17K out of my remaining 24K stack and decide to take the gamble, about 300 spots from the money. I don't need to risk it here, but there's a few factors that weigh me in this direction:
  
  1. I came over the top of a smallish button raise, so I don't have to have a hand, and the button most likely doesn't have one, making a squeeze play fairly easy.
  
  2. Since I have AK, it's unlikely in this battle of the blinds that I'm dominated. I may dominate an opponent overplaying a weaker Ace, or he could have a smaller pair that I can flip with to try and get a strong stack.
  
  3. If I lose the hand, I still have chips left.
  
  He had pocket Tens, flop was 589......T........K and he doubled through me to around 44K. Very next hand guy raises in EP to 1800, another guy cold-calls, I shove my remaining 6400 hoping to get it headsup with one of them when I hold AT s00ted! They both call.
  
  They both check down the board and we have K565K and I'm hoping for a chop. Original raiser has AJ offsuit, cold-caller has pocket Queens, however. I finish up around 1400th out of almost 10,000 entrants. Around the top 1K got paid, but I didn't care about making the money, I wanted first, which was close to $1600.
  
  So opted to go big or get busted so I can get some sleep. night all!
