  Line check, was somehwat deep stacked called a pretty big raise pre planning to set mine and put him on overs or a high pair .70 to call seemed like a good price for the potential pay off.

  Obviously a great result, although I'm typically hesitant to play small pocket pairs OOP in raised pots just because the vast majority of the time you'll likely be check-folding.
  
  That being said, in this spot, there's $1.60 in the pot and you have to call $0.70, so getting more than 2:1 on your money (not to mention implied odds).
  
  Obviously in this spot you were an 80/20 dog, so based on the 2:1 odds you aren't getting the right price, but with the implied odds it appears to have worked in your favor.
  
  Still, a fold isn't terrible in spots like this preflop either.

  Generally I should be getting 3 to1 or better to call here?

  As an 80/20 dog you'd want 4:1 just to be even EV to continue in the hand (not counting implied odds). Then you also have to consider your positional disadvantage postflop which also puts you in a rough spot the vast majority of the time.

  Fold pre-flop would have been your best choice
  
  The re-raise put you in a tough spot. The only flop you could be comfortable with is the one you got. 7.5- 1 to hit your set and no guarantee you will stack your opponent to get all those 'implied odds'.

   so something like 4.5 to 1 for positional disadvantage?
