Well, not ALL the dealers are bad. I've met some great ones. For me, I prefer a dealer who knows how to manage the game (playing Omaha hi/lo with split pots, I encounter a lot of dealers that are only used to hold em and keep messing up).
I also like the dealer to keep the game flowing, I want to get in a volume of hands for the game I play. O8 tends to be slower than Hold Em, because of the split pot nature plus the age of the average player being older. So anything the dealer can do to be efficient and keep the game moving is a plus for my hourly rate.
And while I enjoy a friendly dealer, if you get one that's TOO chatty, it detracts from their focus on keeping the game moving.
