So a few days ago Lori gets word that a cousin of hers got two free suites at the Rio in Vegas.
And offered one to her and her Aunt.
It's in mid September. And they both want to go. I skipped their last trip, but this became more interesting.
Her Aunt had no problem staying at the Rio with me. It got me thinking. Granted, outside of the WSOP time I don't like the Rio since it's not on the Strip.
I was torn. The bankroll is healthy, but I will need to make some cashes to help pay to be out there. We all know how it can be expensive just to even eat out there. Plus airfare and all the other fun expenses that come with it.
Plus, it's the Rio -- granted they have the free shuttles until 2am -- but i don't even get started until about 6 pm. That's how my horse and I roll.
So we have a free suite -- but only for 3 nights. I'm not flying 4 hours to Vegas for only 3 nights, I can play locally and much cheaper.
We get those calender casino prices in the mail from Harrah's (or now know as Ceasars entertainment) She called. 6 days at Imperial palace for 67 dollars the whole stay.
I start thinking again.
We now have 2 rooms at 2 different casinos.
A bit of overkill I admit -- but they were giving it away. So, I pulled the tigger. we booked.
And I'll be there Sept 18th, and for 6 days.
I've stayed at the Rio before, but never at Imperial. just have gambled and eaten there. But I like it's location.
