  Found a guy that's a decent distance from us, but he has connections that could get me into closer games (he can put a word in)

   

  So swinging down to play a $50 tournament and then a $0.25/0.50 NL cash game this Saturday night.  Jenn will be coming with, but she's just watching, not planning to play.  I'll see if it's alright to get some photos, and of course, there is always a trip report  :)

  Structure's decent. 7500 starting chips (bonus 1K chips if you arrive 10 minutes before start time, I like this idea and wonder why in all the years I held home games I never thought of it, was really annoying with all the late-shows)
  
  Blinds start at 25/50 and progress. Tourney should last a few hours, then it's cash game time.

  That's a good point -- nobody ever comes on time at home games.
