There are different versions of the game, but they all follow the same main objectives – you need to end up with no cards left in your hand. In some ways, this part of the game is similar to “Go Fish”; a game that even those who don’t typically play cards are familiar with, because after you pick up cards, you need to group them together according to the rules of the game, and set them down on the table. The first player to put down all of their cards is always the winner! How to Start Playing Rummy2-4 players can play Rummy at a time, whether you choose to play online, at a casino, or during a casual game at home. Depending upon the type of Rummy being played, a specific number of cards are dealt to each player. After all players have their cards, each player has a turn at which point they can pick up a card either from the deck or the discard pile, and they can choose to add it to their hand and discard another card, or ... less

Texas Hold’Em Tournaments are great for players of all skill levels to pass the time. Tournaments can be no limit or fixed limit, and most have a specified buy-in amount that players must pay in order to join in the tournament and have an opportunity to complete for the grand prize, which is often a pre-set pot of money. In normal No Limit Hold’Em Poker Tournaments, the number of players entering are divided into a suitable number of tables, and this is the format used whether you’re playing online or at a brick and mortar Poker room. For example, if 100 players join the tournament, then 10 tables of 10 players are setup. Then, once 10 players have been eliminated the game is reduced to 9 tables. In other types of Texas Hold’Em Poker Tournaments, players do not change tables; they continue to play with one person being eliminated from each table per game, and then whoever’s left joins up with 9 other players to make a new table and compete for the prize and ... less

But this season, the Player of the Year will also be receiving what is arguably the most beautiful and expensive hand-made custom poker table in the world.
Created by established artist, Axel Yberg of Akke Functional Art, this one-of-a-kind masterpiece took over 600 man-hours to construct. The surface was constructed using fifteen species of exotic wood (including: Madagascar Ebony, Rosewood, Purple Heart, Zebra Wood, Wormy Maple, English Brown Oak, Black Locust, Claro Walnut, Quilted Maple, Sycamore, Cherry, Catalpa, Black Walnut, Quarter-Sawn White Oak, and live-edge Ash). The base was fabricated with gold-painted plumbing pipes and fittings, and Edison Reproduction Light Bulbs.
The attached photo speaks for itself, but for more photos and some videos about the artist and about how the table was made from concept to completion, visit:
