in the topic I guess I will NEVER play on Raise and Fold poker again in the forum Online Poker
See what happens when you don't visit the forum for a few months. You have confusion.

Before I get into my reply, please note that the e-mail that is posted came from me directly letting the players of RaiseandFold know what the Everleaf Network was doing. As it states:

"So there isn't any confusion this is a network initiative not a RaiseandFold directive. This is something that just took place and was a surprising development."

As you can see it's important that you are at the very least logging into your account. If your account was closed due to this recent sweep, please e-mailcs@raiseandfold.com with your username and ask that your account be reopened. If there are any issues, please let me know so I can try to get the situation rectified.

I apologize for the inconvenience in this matter.

I knew nothing about this until I was contacted by one of the players asking why their account had been locked. Upon investigated and inquiring with the network that was their reply based on the networks rules not RaiseandFold's arbitrarily.

Any player that had their account closed due to the T&C the network enforced and contacted me or the network to have their account reopened, it happened. Any money that was in their account was still there, every penny of it.

I didn't like this development anymore than the players affected did. From my understanding this is part of an agreement that the Malta Government has with the gaming operations they allow in their country. Why this is, is beyond me because the money sits on the account frozen, it doesn't leave the account.

One final note, the thread starter EatingAnOreo account was never affected by this decision and remains open and in good standing. As you can see the newsletter wasn't understood, it was meant to inform players of the possibility of this happening.

I hope this clears up a lot of confusion and for all the negative replies that came in this thread weren't warranted.

in the topic Press Release for RaiseandFold regarding USPLC in the forum Poker News & Media
RaiseandFold Poker Room located at www.raiseandfold.com will be hosting satellite events that will send women players to the inaugural United States Ladies Poker Championship being held at the Golden Nugget Casino Grand Ballroom in Las Vegas, Nevada. The United States Ladies Poker Championship gets under way on Saturday September 4th at Noon Pacific time.

Satellite tournaments to RaiseandFold's Main Event being held on Saturday August 21,2010 at 6:00PM Eastern get underway on Tuesday June 1, 2010.

For every $1,500 in the prize pool at the main event a prize package will be awarded.

    The prize package includes:

    1. A ticket to the 2010 Women in Poker Hall of Fame Ceremony being held Friday September 3, 2010

    2. Paid Buy in to the Championship on Saturday September 4, 2010

    3. $875 for travelling expenses.

With this being the inaugural event, there will be a lot excitement and buzz in the air as the first champion will be crowned.

The United States Ladies Poker Championship is an opportunity for women to showcase their skills and should attract heavy media coverage. RaiseandFold is proud to be part of this event and looks forward to sending ladies to this event.

Satellites will be available starting June 1, 2010 in the form of sit and go tournaments. They will range from heads up play to a max of 8 ladies. The winners of the sit and go's receive a voucher to the main event being held at 6:00PM Eastern on Saturday August 21,2010.

Multi Table Events get underway on June 4th and will be held during the month of June every:

Friday at 7:00PM and 10:00PM Eastern
Saturday at 5:00PM and 8:00PM Eastern
Sunday at 2:00PM and 9:00PM Eastern

Winners of these events receive a voucher granting entry into the Main Event August 21st.

RaiseandFold Poker Room is proud to be a part of the inaugural event and is a strong supporter of women in poker. RaiseandFold holds daily Ladies Only Tournaments and has a special tab that is home to these daily tournaments.

TJ the Manager of RaiseandFold was quoted "Women in poker are a minority when it comes to upper level tournaments. The goal is to bring a bigger awareness to the game of poker to women. There are a lot of great women poker players out there that can play at a highly competitive level. They just need an opportunity to get out in the tournaments and show what they can do. While our daily tournaments aren't main event status it gives ladies a chance to get to know one another and will help build the confidence in game play. As time moves on and the daily tournaments grow so will the events. The USLPC is the first of many tournaments that RaiseandFold is looking to send women to."

RaiseandFold Poker Room holds daily tournaments for Ladies Only that are password protected and the players are screened to ensure that the players are Ladies Only. The tournaments vary in entry fee and type of game play. The starting times are different daily to allow players from around the world an opportunity to compete. As these events become a success more daily tournaments will be held leading to an all day schedule in the very near future.

RaiseandFold Poker Room gives all players 40% rakeback for tournament fees as well as cash tables in both Dollars and Euros. Rakeback is paid every Monday directly into the players account and a statement of the prior week's activity is e-mailed to every active playing member.

RaiseandFold is an online poker room featured Texas Hold 'Em, Omaha, Stud and various tournaments.

You can visit and download the poker software at www.raiseandfold.com

Of course you can play at RaiseandFold. We aren't as big as Cake but we do give 40% rakeback to all players. This would include play in dollars, euros and tournaments. Also we are holding Ladies Only tournaments every Saturday at 5PM Eastern.

We don't accept MC for USA members due to the restrictions from MC. They have put a halt to almost all US gaming transactions. It's a shame the government thinks they need to tell people where they can spend and how they can spend their hard earned money but yet they freely spend the money and just print more.

I take it we are going to have a late rush of entrants? I also wanted to tell you about a special tournament being held at 10PM Eastern. It's a $5 buy in and you get 10,000 in starting chips with 15 minute levels. Should be a nice tournament after the freeroll. A lot of you played in the Pic Club freeroll last week and they are holding this tournament as well. It's located in the private tab.

The freeroll for Poker Nations you can find it in the regular tab.

    6. A box will pop up. Click on the browse tab to choose a picture from your computer system.

    7. Click on upload avatar. You'll get a preview of what you chose.

    8. Click on Save avatar and close the window.

Please submit your entry only once as your image is sent to the server and then reviewed and sized to fit the space allowed for the image to show.

Looking forward to the tournament on Friday night. I don't remember who won the last event but they beat me heads up to win it. You guys can do better than letting me finish 2nd now.

    Come eat some pie !!!!!
