    Cool, Thanks!

I think the book looks very interesting and I can't wait to read it.

Although I think I would go with Doyle Brunson, I agree with Anthony that it is hard to name a "best" because there are so many variations of poker, and so many people have stood out in their particular game or games of choice.

I think one way to think about who would be the best is, if you could come up with a completely new variation of poker,
give all of teh contenders a rule sheet, and let them play for last person standing (sitting?) who would win?

Thanks, Anthony, that makes a lot of sense. The math helps me understand it better. And I can't figure it all out while sitting at the poker table, so talking about it now really helps.

Shoving is not a move that I have really used. Not that I'm against it, I just don't really know when to do it.
The way you explain it makes a lot of sense, tho. I will start thinking about it in situations like this in the future.

Patty, I hadn't considered overbetting the pot. I will give that a try/
Dan, I usually raise with 99 and call withh 88-66 in EP. What is your range here?

    thanks for the input!
