But it is true, most people think on line poker is illeagal now.
Yeah, probably. When I tell people I play online poker, the reaction I often get is "Isn't that illegal?" Didn't the games get noticeably tougher quickly after the passing of the UIGEA? I want online gambling clearly made legal (even sportsbetting is OK), no doubt about it, so more fish enter the player pool.
Things won't stay the way they are, anyway--at some point the government will step in and that could very well be a good thing. I propped at Pitbull and it was interesting to see on different forums that when the site went down many were blindsided by the news, despite it being a pretty shady place. I'd like to think that sort of thing wouldn't happen, at least not to that extent, if poker were regulated.
